As of 12:00 EST some customers may have experienced Deferred Mail Delivery for Inbound and Outbound Email.

Email in this state would have been resent after this issue resolved.

Customers impacted would have received a bounced email stating the messages below

Outbound:

  • "Sorry, couldn’t find a host by that name"
  • FQDN : "Unable to make an SMTP connection"

General:

  • SMTP Test errors (Which can be disregarded at present)
  • MX Record Test errors (Which can be disregarded at present)

As 13:00 EST the issue has been resolved.

Engineering has addressed the issue and any mail in our queues that was deferred would have been resent.

And our Development Teams continue to monitor.
